Getting to Vienna

From Vienna International Airport: The airport is located outside the city but it’s easily accessible by public transport or taxi (price approx. EUR 30,00). There are different ways of getting to the city centre within 15 – 20 minutes by using the local trains or busses:

  • ÖBB Railjet (departing every 30 min) – price per ticket: from EUR 4,20
    non-stop to the Vienna Main Train Station within 15 minutes
  • Vienna Airport Lines (buses departing every 30 min) – price per ticket: from EUR 8,00
    non-stop to the Vienna Main Train Station or city centre (Schwedenplatz) within 25 minutes
  • City Airport Train (departing every 30 min) – price per ticket: EUR 12,00
    to Wien Landstraße (U4, U3) within 16 minutes
  • Express train S7 (departing every 30 min) – price per ticket: from EUR 4,20
    to Praterstern (U1, U2) or Wien Mitte (U3, U4) within 25 minutes

With train: Most International and National Trains stop at the Vienna Main Train Station, where you can change to the subway line (red line U1) to get around.


Getting to The Erste Campus

The Erste Campus is located right next to the Main Train Station and therefore easily reachable from nearly every point of the city, as several trains and express trains stop at the station. It is also connected to the subway lines through the red line U1. From the historic city centre “Stephansplatz” you take the subway Line U1 which takes you in a few stops to the main train station and therefore to the Erste Campus Conference Centre.

From the Vienna International Airport, it takes approx. 15 min by train or around 30 minutes by car to get to the Erste Campus.
